I didn't grow up here. So I sort of ignored the little old shack, ignorant of its history. But this is the building that children of the farm workers attended. Unfortunately,  the building fell from th high winds we get out this way. Most times, I'm looking at the sea to check the waves. Or running to the little outhouse/ wharepaku😄ofc, it's the same station well known for it's out of this world launches, which I can watch from my table🤩I have to confess, I exaggerated Portland Island in the background.  Normally, it's only a hint not so blatant.
